The prices of fuel are comparatively stable, pellet stoves are in comparison less polluting, the approval of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) can be found where the pellets are used in burning, as the technology is advancing, emission of few pollutants are found in wood-burning systems into the air than oil and coal.
Some of the notable cons are hazardous gases are released such as soot, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxide when a wood burns which is a huge factor to be worried about. In order to avoid pollution in a large scale, wood energy appliances like wood stoves, fireplaces, other wood energy appliances, etc. must be designed in such a way that air quality standards and regulations are met. To fill bulky fuel, wood systems are required to have more space and the sealed fireplaces and pellet stoves need both electricity and natural resource to support it which leads to wastage of both the source of energy that has a relation with wood gasification.
